I am an Architect, avid fan of all kinds of games, and artist on the side.

Our interviews with Rob Heinsoo & Sara Girard, as well as Andy Collins & Scott Rouse are finally up! Plus a bunch of pictures from our time at D&D XP and some of our thoughts having played in previews of 4th Edition.

My response to many people criticizing D&D 4th Edition for being too similar to World of Warcraft.

(was reviewed under video-games, but I want the roleplaying crowd to see it also)

An animation of drawing a woman starting from skeleton and all the way through finished product. It's great to see a thorough look at drawing anatomy especially including the skeleton.

Is it more meaningful when an actual Architect says it's good stuff?

Arthur Erickson didn't really do anything revolutionary as far as design goes, but what he did do was apply modern design ideas to residential buildings to create unique and inspiring living spaces. The use of wood also helped bridge the gab between modern designs that many people wouldn't dare live inside of with a comfortable living environment.

A good rant about min-maxing in table-top RPG's, specifically D&D, and a lot of reader reactions to the topic!
